The Consultation Process
Before Your Consultation
Once you book, you’ll receive a comprehensive intake form and your Telehealth link via email. This gives you space to reflect on your health history before we meet.
You’re welcome to send through any recent pathology results ahead of time so I can review them before your appointment.
Your Initial Consultation (60-75 minutes)
Your first appointment is unhurried and thorough. This is where I take the time to understand you — not just your symptoms.
We explore:
Your current concerns and symptom patterns
Medical and family history
Hormonal and cycle history (where relevant)
Digestive health and nervous system patterns
Dietary intake and lifestyle factors
Environmental influences
Your personal health goals
This is a collaborative conversation. We discuss realistic expectations, timelines, and what feels sustainable for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling informed, empowered, and clear on the next steps.
Your Treatment Plan
Following your appointment, you’ll receive a personalised treatment plan via email. This may include:
Dietary recommendations
Lifestyle and nervous system support
Herbal and/or nutritional prescriptions
Suggested pathology or functional testing (if indicated)
Referrals or collaborative communication with other healthcare providers if needed
Prescriptions are dispensed through trusted online herbal and nutraceutical dispensaries and delivered directly to you.
Follow-Up Consultation (30-45 minutes)
Follow-up appointments focus on:
Assessing your progress
Reviewing any pathology or functional testing
Refining and adjusting your treatment plan
Supporting long-term regulation and sustainable change
Care evolves as your body does. We continue working collaboratively to ensure your plan remains relevant and supportive.
Ongoing Care
The number of appointments required will depend on the complexity of your case and your individual progress.
Healing takes time, particularly with complex hormonal and gut concerns. Your care plan will be individualised to your needs and adjusted as your body responds.
You’ll be guided every step of the way, with clear expectations and regular review points so you always know where you stand.
Naturopathy is guided by seven key principles.
First do no harm ensures safe and gentle treatment, the healing power of nature recognises the body’s natural and innate ability to heal itself. Treat the cause focuses on addressing the root cause, while treating the person as a whole considers all aspects of you - physical, emotional, spiritual and also lifestyle and environmental aspects contributing to your health and wellbeing. Doctor (naturopath) as teacher is in essence where I empower and educate you to make informed health decisions and to give you the knowledge about you and your health. Disease prevention and health promotion emphasises maintaining balance to prevent illness, and wellbeing nurtures your overall vitality and wellness.
These principles work together to promote lasting health.
